It depends on the the type of graphics application. For applications like Photoshop or Illustrator you'll be looking at Graphic Art, Graphic Design, and other related positions. For engineering applications like AutoCAD, Pro-Engineer...any drafting position that does not require a min of a 2 year degree (AS). There is a big difference between a certificate and an AS degree. The certificate is basically an acknowledgment that you are skilled and knowledgeable in a specific application. The AS however is considered a minimum college level degree and shows you are educated in the field of your major, not just a specific application. How does this translate to job hunting?
