Franklin is a city in Robertson County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,470 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Robertson County. Franklin is part of the Bryan-College Station metropolitan area. GeographyFranklin is located at 31°1′34″N 96°29′10″W / 31.02611°N 96.48611°W (31.026222, -96.486086).
