A. I love that story... If you really mean to translate it into a different language, wrong section. If you want us to explain what it means, well, here you go. The story is about a monomaniac guy who falls in love with his cousin Berenice. Berenice later comes down with an illness which leaves her disfigured and sometimes, she appears to be dead (not moving, not breathing, etc). This is the reason she is buried alive. Egaeus becomes obsessed with her teeth which are the only things left on her not disfigured. He is later informed that she had died and been buried. Cherry cabinets VS antique white?
Q. I have cherry cabinets. I think their ok but my husband thinks they look 'cheap'. I have lived in this house for three years and I can agree that there is some slight fading on the stain from wiping them over the years (I only use little water no chemicals to clean them). Anyway my cousin made custom cabinets she painted and they are beautiful! I love the open feeling that antique white gives. In the pic they look good, but she said she put a mocha glaze on it. My husband says he can do it himself, strip the stain and repaint them white, but I am nervous to do that. I am afraid I am going to make my kitchen look cheap. Here is a pic of my kitchen. A. The cabinets you now have look exactly like what we installed on many tracts. The door style is called classic, If you are going to paint your cabinets i would suggest that you start with the corbels that are under your granite (front of kitchen island) that way you can see how it will look before you start on the entire kitchen. When you start on the doors/drawers be sure to mark each one and where they go, use a sprayer,you may not like the finish that a roller/brush will leave paint the inside of a door first to check . If the stain is coming off you may still be under warranty depending on builder and state your in, i have been to homes that have been 3-4 years old and fixed and replaced cabinets for the same problem.You can paint… [cont.]

Any value to old ham radio QSL cards?
Q. These are Ham Radio "QSL cards". The cards are all to Charles Waff Jr., Amateur Radio W3UVA, University, VA. From the very limited info I've found on him, he was a fairly prolific "DX'er" in his time (he's mentioned as a "famous old time DX'er" at There are roughly 1200. The cards range from the early 30's to early 40's, most around 1935 to 1937. Cards are from all over the US, and all over the world (many from Russia ((primarily Leningrad)), Germany ((some have Swastika's on them)), Western Australia, Czechoslavakia, Japan, et cetera; there are many more countries); some use postage, others a QSL bureau. Some have odd small blue stamps with triangles in them, or other "non-postage" QSL stamps. Condition is very mixed, ranging from poor… [cont.]
