A museum is a building or institution that houses and cares for a collection of artifacts and other objects of scientific, artistic, or historical importance and makes them available for public viewing through exhibits that may be permanent or temporary. Most large museums are located in major cities throughout the world and more local ones exist in smaller cities, towns and even the countryside. Early museums began as the private collections of wealthy individuals, families or institutions of art and rare or curious natural objects and artifacts. The museums of ancient times, such as the Musaeum of Alexandria, would be equivalent to a modern graduate institute. From Wikipedia under the

Q. I will be on Pa, and Ohio this coming week and am contemplating visiting a creationist museum. Being an atheist, I was going to just avoid creationist museums as place to visit. But, there may come a time in, hopefully my life time, when that fraudulent science industry may go bankrupt and only exist in real museums that have exhibitions about the absurdity of religion. Does anyone have info about creationist museums in Penn and Ohio? Asked by Born again Atheist, think about - Sat Mar 13 18:42:03 2010 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. ROFL. There is one in Akron, Ohio. We want to stay in Rome between 12-15 April and we wonder if shops, museums and restaurants will be open? Asked by senushka - Sun Apr 5 17:15:08 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. The Orthodox in the eastern part of Europe celebrate Easter a week later than the Catholics. Since Italy is a Catholic country and in Western Europe, I believe it is on the 12th of April like the USA. From my experience living in Europe during Easter, the stores and shops ARE open during the holidays. Even on New Years Day. Its only on Christmas that you'll find stores closed.
